Self portrait: The pink ribbon

Wow, I havn't submitted art in forever. @_@ It was for several reasons, including my inking pens being all dried out and me not being in a colouring mood. XD

Anyway, we had a sketchbook assignment for art to do a colour self-portrait of ourselves. There was no WAY I was doing photo-realism for that, so I did an anime style one instead.

I'm pretty happy with the colouring, especially on the hair. My hair is darkish blonde, and it's really hard to accurately depict that, but I think I did an okay job here. It's my first time colouring hair in this style.

If you couldn't guess, the pose was referenced from the first volume of Fullmoon o Sagashite. Arina Tanemura's style is amazing. @-@ Oh, and the scan on this came out really badly for some reason. The colors aren't so bad, but all of the lines are pixilized. :/

All put together, this probably took me around six hours, and it was done in colored pencil. Hope you like this! ^^
