...for bearing with me even though i'm hardly on deviantart any more. :] i've been inactive because i've been busy, but also because my interests in art are changing. anime is pretty much a thing of the past for me. one day i liked it, the next...i just wasn't interested anymore. it's weird. now i want to get better at painting and portraiture. it's exciting. :] by the way, i still look at pretty much everything, even if i don't always comment! :heart:

Happy Hanukkah too! I went to a Hanukkah party tonight...it was pretty fun. Although it's a bit late in the case of Christmas, I just wanted to wish everyone happy holidays because I haven't posted a journal in a long time. XD Did anyone get anything good? I got some pretty sweet things. A couple books (one that's like 500+ pages on Victorian art and one called "The Impressionists at Home"), an amazing electric tea kettle (to properly boil water, of course--mom was afraid I was going to burn the house down), a really pretty dress with lace and herringbone, an Urban Outfitters gift card...hmm what else...my friends gave me some really prett

...I've been pretty lame lately. :p But here's why! For one thing...I've been knitting! Ummmno, I'm not joking. My grandma taught me a few years back, but I just picked it up again a few months ago and I'm making some really cute stuff. :] Once I figure out how to work a camera, I'll take some pictures and post them. I've made some arm warmers, a couple hats, and a scarf or two, and I'm working on MORE arm warmers, more hats, some fingerless gloves, and this crazy-long Ravenclaw scarf. So anyway. Second, I've been taking this life-drawing class with models for a while now, so most of my drawing's been going into that. All of the sketche
